K is for Keys

Have you ever misplaced your keys? If you’re like me, you get this sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach that means, “Not again!” Add to that, “How can I be so stupid? So careless? So irresponsible?” If you’re lucky, you simply reach for your spare set and the day is saved…unless you’ve misplaced those keys, too.

You need keys to get you started in the morning…to take you where you want to go. To secure your house or apartment while you’re out…and to get back in at the end of the day.

But what if you don’t keep an extra set of keys around? What if they’ve disappeared, too? Whether you’re missing the car keys or the house keys or the keys to your office, you’re stuck. You could waste the whole day searching in vain…

…which is bad enough but what if it’s the key to happiness you’re missing? Or the key to success? Or the key to someone’s heart that you just can’t find? What will you do without them? And where will your search take you?

Which key are you missing?

“Success is not the key to happiness;
happiness in the key to success.”

  1. What if I know they're in my purse and I can't find that article? Then I really have a problem! But, I digress. I don't think I'm missing any keys at all today...it's a good day.
